Extended 'Speak For Yourself' album inlay thanks.....

Hey There!

You’ve been paying attention to the artwork and now you’ve found the thanks!

Well even with 8 sides to the digipack I don’t think I could have fit all this on!

Here’s the thanks in Full!

Richie – my Rock. My love. How do you put up with me?! You’re always there for me, whether it’s drumming, front cover artwork or a big tattooed shoulder. Thank you for getting me through this one. You are the sweetest thing and not too bad on the eyes neither!

http://www.richiemills.com

My family, not forgetting Lizzie – for being as supportive a family as I could wish for. We’re a funny lot thankfully which makes for perfect lyric fodder!

Mark and the Woods – Mark for you’re complete dedication and hanging in there with me. You’re still standing up with/ for me after all these 10 years! And a big big hand for your ever increasing family!

Mickey and Jean – You’ve had 10 years of me too now! Goodness. Thankyou for your keeping us in order.

Jeff Beck and Sandra (now Jeff and Sandra Beck!) – Jeff I have so enjoyed singing with you over these last few years and am delighted to have you playing on my album. I secretly always wanted to have a brilliantly crazy Jeff beck solo on this album! x Both of you for making Richie and I feel so welcome in your wonderful home and all the fun evenings! I’m excited to be playing at your wedding!

www.jeffbeck.com

Mich Gerber – For being a good friend. You’re tone is sooo beautiful. You have given the album a bigger soul.

www.michgerber.ch

Arve Henriksen – I came to see you play at 93 feet east and broke in tears when you played that night. So incredible. I wish I had left you more to your own devices when playing over a few ideas I had back at the start of this album making process (in what was to be the flower shop directly beneath my studio, what a natural reverb though! with all the trains running past every 20 seconds, eek!). I would love to work with you again and leave you to shine.

www.arvehenriksen.no

Leo Abrahams – you were in my band when I was 18! I’ve known you for so long. You are always a great person to talk to about stuff and I enjoy your company immensely! I caught a little of you on this album but nowhere near enough! Good luck with your new album!

www.justmusic.co.uk/artists/leo_abrahams/

Atomic Rob – More light bulbs? Power cut at 2 in the morning? New window? You’re there. I love atomic, I love the trains passing, I love the fact that it’s not in a cool part of town coz I’d never get any work done. I had my eye on a space there a good 7 years ago when you were building the space. You’re a wonderful help and very understanding if the rent’s a little overdue!

Atomic Dave – for leaving the door open amongst other things! Another reason I love my studio there.

Simon Heyworth –A truly fantastic space you have down there in Devon . It really put a golden cap on the whole album for me mastering at yours for a couple of days. Hearing it on someone else’s system and you bringing the perfect amount of sugar to the table. I’m glad we did what we did!!

www.superaudiomastering.com

Marisa and Sanne @ Zync – wow. You guys have almost totally single handedly broken this record already! You are the best! I am so lucky to have you on my side. You are the future of the music industry! Big love to you and all that you’re doing xxx

Thomas Golubic – when I was going round and round in circles your call was just the ticket to find me an exit and get back on track. It was great to do something different in the middle of the album. It was so satisfying getting the request to do Petunia and having it over to you recorded and everything within a couple of days and then getting the confirmation that Six Feet Under were going to use it. Really gave me an energy boost to see something work like that.

James Clarke –You keep me internetically alive while I’m busy doing other things. You’ve helped create a fabulous community on the babble board and I always feel nothing is ever too much trouble with you. You got me started on the iblog and without that I may never have finished the album! You are an invaluable part of the picture and are very grateful I still have you with me.
